Lasu Student Was Declared Winner Of Aquafina Elite Model

Stephen Aladenika could not hold back his emotions last weekend when he was declared the winner of Aquafina Elite Model Look Nigeria in the male
category. Stephen, an undergraduate of Lagos State University, beat nine other contestants to emerge winner.

With the win, the 18-year old has started a long journey into the exciting and glamour world of fashion and international modelling.
But Stephen was not the only winner of the night. Tobi Momoh won in the female category of the award and the young girl was simply on top of the world.

The two are on a journey to stardom as both of them will be representing Nigeria in the Elite Model Look International contest later in the year. This is in addition to the N1m each received from lead sponsors of the event, Seven-Up Bottling Company Plc, makers of Aquafina table water.

The judges, made of Mr. Norden Thurston of Seven-Up Bottling Company Plc, Agbani Darego, former Miss World and Veronica Odeka, would have had a huge task in their hands to determine the eventual winners as all the contestants were top notch.

However, Stephen was exceptional, looking deft in all his appearances. The crowd also screamed each time he appeared on the runway.

The girls were also incredible especially as they walked on the runway during the swimwear category. But at the end of the show, the judges felt Momoh deserved to be the winner in the female category.
