Kenyan Election Delayed To October 26

The independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) said in a declaration that an in
depth judgment from the perfect courtroom on why it cancelled the poll “influences on the election operations and in particular (the) era to be deployed.”

Te choice comes a day after the preferrred courtroom issued a detailed judgement lambasting the independent electoral boundaries commission (IEBC) for failing to properly conduct the election.
The courtroom ordered a clean election, which had to start with been set for october 17, but doubts had piled up over the potential of the commission to behavior necessary reforms and preparations in one of these brief time.

In an announcement, the IEBC stated it had decided to push back the vote as the whole court ruling “affects at the election operations and in particular (the) era to be deployed.”

“in an effort to ensure that the commission is fully organized to deliver an election that meets the standards set out by way of the preferrred court, we want to notify the general public and all stakeholders that the clean presidential election shall now be hung on thursday 26 october
