What The Nigerian Senate is Doing to Deal With Abdulrasheed Maina

The Nigeria Senate on Tuesday took steps to address the Reinstation of Ex-Pension Reform Boss, Abdulrasheed Maina, who has been accused of a $2bn fraud.

On Tuesday the senate drafted the chairmen and vice- chairman of committees on interior, judiciary, anti-corruption and public carrier status quo to “decide the situations surrounding Mr. Maina’s return to the Country and how he became reinstated to the carrier and got promoted to the post of Director after Dismissal.”

“Tragically, no longer most effective did he go back, he back the expanded function. This is an insult to all civil servants who're doing their work diligently.For me it’s a unhappy second,we cannot be pronouncing we're combating corruption and keep to permit this.” – Chief Whip, Olusola Adeyeye, Osun-Apc said
