In a video which The Voice Nigeria posted on Instagram Idyl who was Timi Dakolo’s protégé stated that “It
doesn’t matter where you come from, I am coming from the street and I tell you, you can be anything, just believe God and put in you hard work.”

The singer on his Instagram page stated that he is ready to put in his best.
“Everybody that prayed for me, everybody that voted for me, everybody that took it upon themselves to make sure say I win, I really appreciate you and God will bless you and I promise you this will not be the last time you will hear from me.
“This is just the beginning of my journey. I am ready to put in everything that I have to make it work. Thanks guys, I love you.”
